With many thanks to SingHealth who allowed us to embark on this 1 week hospital attachment and choose our departments we like too! We were posted, depending on the speciality to either KKH, SGH or Changi General Hospital.

The attachment, which was opened to preclinical and clinicals was a blast. We learnt, we observed and within the scope of our abilities, we helped. What a week. It certainly puts what we are learning at university into some perspective.

Whilst being explained the works, aims and goals of hospitals under the NHG umbrella (NUH, IMH, TTSH, AH) , we were also given a grand tour, courtesy of the National Healthcare Group. Check out the museum at IMH – we are indeed lucky to be in the era of modern technology, some of the ancient equipment is just painful!

Time: 12.00pm -5pm

In collaboration with the British Council, the annual Pre-departure Fair seeks to allow people who have already applied to their prospective universities in the UK to meet others in the same boat and their seniors who attempt to give them a good account on the mental, physical preparations to be made before going. (Nothing too scary, hopefully!)
