Stethoscopes for Sale!
We at SMSL are putting together a great deal on stethoscopes for you! If you’re in your preclinical years and haven’t got a stethoscope, in your clinical years and haven’t got a stethoscope, have a stethoscope and want another, or want a stethoscope just for all the jolly good fun it can bring, here’s the place to look!
We are selling 3M Littmann Classic II S.E. stethoscopes (model 2201, black, 28 inches) - the retail price for these is about S$130, but Kingston Medical Supplies has kindly offered them to us for S$88 apiece. This price is conditional on our ordering a minimum of 30 stethoscopes though, so the more of you reply the merrier!

We’re also able to get the 3M Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope for those of you looking beyond a basic model, for S$235, and this is available in any colour. You can view this here:
The stethoscopes will be distributed at the Freshers/Members Gathering which is to be held from 11am–2pm on 29th August (more details on this to follow nearer the date).

SMSL RAG (Raising-and-Giving)
Dear all,
Itching to do something worthwhile this summer?
In partnership with the Singhealth Foundation, SMSL is organising a Raising-and-Giving (RAG) to raise money for the Foundation and its causes.
SMSL Raising-and-Giving (RAG)
If you have a few hours to spare, join us as we prowl the streets of Shenton Way, Orchard Road, and the corridors of Singapore General Hospital, tin cans in hand, to raise funds for a good cause!
Surgical scrubs will be provided!

Shift 1
Time: 11am-2.30pm
Venue: Singapore General Hospital (SGH)
Friday 17 Aug 2007
Shift 2
Time: 11.30am-2.30pm
Venue: Shenton Way
Shift 3
Time: 4.30-7pm
Venue: Orchard Road
